Today I added a Google reader page to my Google account and began subscribing to RSS feeds. I signed up for some book related feeds-one from the Today show-which I consistently miss as I run out the door to work...and one from teacher Esme Codrell-who features children's books specifically on a daily basis. I will enjoy browsing her titles every few day and making sure that CML owns the titles she is recommending. As a collection development librarian, you can never have too many sources for book titles to consider!
I also added blogs from friends who are participating in the CML Learn and Play program.
I went ahead and marked some items as shared-but when I tried to display them in a new page-I was given an error message. So I will work harder on creating a public page later.
